October 2, 2021 - October 9, 2021

Hosted by Nomadic Travel, Exclusive Perks.

RELAXATION ALONG THE FRENCH AND ITALIAN RIVIERAS

Unhurried. Unrushed. Unequaled in relaxation. We like to call it La belle vie or La vita bella—depending on which Riviera we visit. Lucky for you, on this voyage, you’ll experience both.

We embark from Gaudi’s Barcelona, a city renowned for its gothic architecture and stunning beaches, to sail along the Cote d’Azur for an overnight stay in beautiful Provence. Visit the Vieux Port, Marseille’s lively fishing harbor; Le Panier, one of the oldest and most stroll-worthy neighborhoods; or the North African souks and shops in the Capucin district.

The petite size of Sanary-Sur-Mer means you won’t see any big ships. Stroll the little shops and patisseries, then settle in at a harborside restaurant for a seafood feast paired with local wines.

St. Tropez and Monte-Carlo need little introduction, but we’re happy to introduce you to some of our favorite things, like cafes along Pampelonne Beach, wine-tasting in nearby coastal vineyards, opulent casinos, and hilltop villages with astounding views. Relax. Enjoy. La belle vie indeed.

Cruise to an abundance of Italian riches as we set sail for Livorno. We stay late, so you’ll have plenty of time to explore the Renaissance city of Florence and the lively street life of Pisa before it’s off to our final destination—the Amalfi Coast. Santa Margherita offers glamorous old hotels, dramatic cliff-side forts, and palazzos lined with colorful buildings.

Nestled against steep hills, picture-perfect Portofino has one of the prettiest harbors you’ll ever see. A playground of the rich and famous, enjoy a glass of wine near the harbor paired with sample fresh-caught seafood to finish off this exquisite journey.

Itinerary

SAT 2-OCT 2021. Barcelona, Spain.  Embark-6:00 pm

Barcelona is a cosmopolitan masterpiece. With a history rich in art and architecture, medieval, Gothic, and modern influences can be seen all over the city. Start at the waterfront and stroll up the shady, tree-lined Las Ramblas boulevard and discover some of the city's best shopping and bustling cafes.

SUN 3-OCT TO MON 4-OCT 2021  Marseille, (Provence), France. Docked 8:00 am (Oct 3) 8:00 am (Oct 4)

2,600 years of history come to life in the magnificent port of Marseille. The Musée des Civilisations de l’Europe et de la Méditerranée is filled to the brim with insight on the culture of this wonderful region and well worth a visit. From here, explore La Panier for souvenirs to remind you of your journey. Cap off your day with a glass of pastis—an alcoholic beverage that is a local favorite!

MON 4-OCT 2021  Sanary Sur Mer, France. Tendered 1:00 pm 10:00 pm

Visit église Saint Nazaire, a late 19th century Gothic Revival church, or Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Pitié, built in 1560. Stroll along the palm-lined harbor, where you’ll find rows of old Provençal wooden fishing boats, pointus, and if you’re lucky, some local fishermen selling the day’s catch. Or simply taste the freshest seafood in any number of Sanary restaurants in this charming and inviting town.

TUE 5-OCT 2021. Saint-Tropez, France.  Tendered 8:00 am 10:00 pm

Stroll along the harbor and marvel at the yachts, many of which dwarf the surrounding buildings. Join other jet setters on one of the fabulous beaches, some of which are clothing optional. Ooh, la la! For lunch, the old fishing quarter La Ponche has plenty of seafood restaurants serving the day’s freshest catches and refreshing rosés, a regional specialty.

WED 6-OCT 2021  Monte-Carlo, Monaco. Docked 8:00 am 10:00 pm

You don’t need luck on your side to have an unforgettable time in Monte Carlo! Home to the legendary Grand Casino and the opulent Royal Palace, Monte Carlo lives up to its reputation in every way. Stroll among luxury yachts at Port Hercules and soak in sweeping Med views from The Rock—a towering outcrop the royals of Monaco call home.

THU 7-OCT 2021. Livorno, (Florence & Pisa), Italy.  Docked  7:30 am  10:00 pm

The port city of Livorno has many charms of its own: the canals of La Venezia Nuova (New Venice), which date back to the Medici era, the Mercato Centrale, and the chessboard-style Terrazza Mascagni promenade, to name a few. But Livorno is also the gateway to the magnificent art and architecture, palaces, churches and museums of Florence, as well as Pisa’s famous leaning tower. Decisions, decisions!

FRI 8-OCT 2021. Portofino, Italy.  Tendered 8:00 am 5:00 pm

Picture a tiny town of pastel houses lining the shore of a small harbor full of sleek yachts, crowned by a castle. Throw in charming waterside restaurants specializing in seafood, and a national park with miles of hiking trails among chestnut and olive groves, where you can work off the pasta that in Italy is just the first course, between the antipasto and the main.

SAT 9-OCT 2021. Civitavecchia, (Rome), Italy. Debark. 6:00 am

Always enchanting, the Eternal City will captivate you—no matter how many times you visit. Walk in the steps of gladiators at the Coliseum, channel your inner statesman at the Forum, or gaze up in wonder at Michelangelo's masterwork at St. Peter's Basilica. Pasta and vino are a must, and there are plenty of places to relax and refuel after a day of exploration.
