Even if History class wasn’t your favorite as a kid, you can’t help but be awe-struck by the historical landmarks in Greece. From the location of the first Olympic Games to ancient theatre's and monasteries, Greece has countless landmarks and historical sites. With its breathtaking marble and stone structures, this country is ideal for people who appreciate history or enjoy learning. Iconic sites such as the Parthenon and Acropolis of Athens are must-sees for history or architecture lovers.
